*This is an in-class writing assignment, due by the end of the period!
Congratulations on completing the project! Please provide a thoughtful response to the three questions in the following prompt. Be sure to provide evidence: specific, personal examples to support your claims.
"The lens that shapes your world shapes your reality. If we can change the lens, not only can we change your happiness, we can change every single outcome at the same time."--Shawn Anchor
How did your 'lens'--your thoughts and attitude--affect the outcome of your project in terms of productivity, quality, and ideas for your photos? Did you notice any change in your 'lens' by the end of the project? How might you use your 'Signs of Hope' photo blog experience in the future?

WEEK 4 REFLECTION
*Please read this prompt carefully! Last week, many of you responded, but not to the questions that were asked!
Two characteristics of creativity are FLUENCY (doing something many times) and FLEXIBILITY (trying something many ways). After 18 days of photographing 'Signs of Hope,' you have presumably exercised both of these characteristics. How have you utilized fluency and flexibility in this project? What impact have fluency and flexibility had on your creativity?
Be sure to answer the questions asked. Be sure to refer specifically to your photos and link your claims (either way) to what can be seen in your photos ('visual evidence').

WEEK 3 REFLECTION
It is Day 13 of our 21-day project; you're more than half way into finding 'Signs of Hope'. Your prompt for this week's reflection is to write a paragraph describing your favorite post and how it relates to one or more pieces of information (from the background information, available on this blog and in our class assignments folder) and why it's your favorite. Be sure to identify the post that you write about by 'Day number'.
TITLE YOUR POST WEEK 3 REFLECTION
WEEK 2 REFLECTION
Your second reflection is due by midnight, Sunday, May 10. Here's the prompt:
Please review the background information for the 'Signs of Hope' Blog Project.
Then, post a paragraph on your blog that describes how it's going for you (remember to provide examples): How is your thinking, feeling, and outlook being affected by looking for and photographing signs of hope each day?
TITLE YOUR POST WEEK 2 REFLECTION.
WEEK 1 REFECTION
Now that your blog is set up and that you have completed the first three days of posting photos and captions, write a short reflection about any issues that you had and how you were able to overcome them. Also, this week you were to look at other students' blogs and make substantive comments; include in your reflection a brief description of the blogs you looked at and your response to them (what kinds of 'signs of hope' were posted and what did you think/how did you feel about them).
*BE SURE TO TITLE YOUR POST WEEK 1 REFLECTION. IT IS DUE BY MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY.
DAY 1 PHOTO POST IS DUE BY THE END OF YOUR CLASS PERIOD
DUE Wednesday, April 29, your first photo must be posted, titled Day 1, with a caption BY THE END OF YOUR CLASS PERIOD! Make sure you see it listed on your Blog Archive!
*POSTING TIP
Remember, you can set up a page in your blog for any photos that you might want to add to your blog that are not part of your Daily Post! Only Daily Posts and assigned reflections should be on your main page.
FIRST POST ASSIGNMENT
1. This post must be titled INTRODUCTION. Be sure to proof read! Your post must be well written, using correct capitalization, spelling, and punctuation. It is DUE BY MIDNIGHT, Sun. 4/26.
2. Write a paragraph that introduces your blog and states the purpose of the blog project. You MUST REFER to specific background information (found on my blog and in the class assignments folder).
3. Respond in detail to one reference that you include, stating your expectations. For example, "Brain research indicates that being grateful and compassionate activate parts of the brain that are associated with creativity." Do you think that you will become more grateful by looking for 'Signs of Hope'? Will you discover that you become more creative as you focus on this project? Be sure to state WHY or WHY NOT!
